My baby is six weeks. She hasn’t smiled yet. My husband and I had two arguments where I was crying and shouting. I’m so scared that because she heard this she doesn’t want to
Bond with me anymore. I am
Sad her eye contact isn’t the same with me and she hasn’t smiled at me yet. Should I be worried?? Plz need some encouragement.

Don't be worried. Smiling is a milestone for between 1-3 months as far I'm aware. As for the yelling, my son has heard me yell far too much at his older sister 🥴 he's just starting to show hints of smiles.
Obviously no one likes to hear crying and screaming but the reality is it's gonna happen whether you like it or not.
Your daughter will be ok ❤️ And when she gives you that first smile you won't even think back to this 🥰

I have a similar story, my baby sometimes smile and coos. I had a fight with my husband last night and was telling and crying. I then got so anxious it would make the baby upset. the baby was asleep and didn't seem to notice (no crying, etc.) but I never wanna do that again. I am sure our babies are fine though because life happens

definitely do not worry about her not bonding because of an argument. She’s too little to know anyways. I did read that babies can start to detect anger in your voice around 5 months and that’s when parents arguing can cause stress. So it is good to focus on resolving conflict better or doing it away from baby. But even if you do argue in front of her, it wouldn’t make her not want to bond with you. you’ll always be her safe person. My baby is 5 weeks and only does smiles in his sleep.
